Finished music must be submitted as a single high-resolution audio file (WAV or AIFF, 24-bit, 48 kHz).
Each score must be original and cannot contain any copyrighted material. In other words, it needs to be your own work. Music must be specifically composed for the purpose of this competition and cannot contain copyrighted samples or content from other original works.
All AI-generated music will be disqualified!
By participating in this competition, you must agree not to post the portion of the film provided to you anywhere on the internet. The portion of the film you will be working with is copyrighted and is being made available to you by permission for the express purpose of this competition. Those who do not follow these instructions will be disqualified from the competition.
By deciding to participate in the competition, you agree to issue a perpetual use license (master license) for the score to be used in the film, and for promotional purposes in connection with the film or the competition. The master license covers physical and digital streaming of the music track during the festival event. As the composer, you retain full copyright of the music both as writer and publisher.
The Competing musical scores will be shown at the 2026 Christian Worldview Film Festival, being held at Sherwood Baptist Church in Albany, Georgia. The composer of the winning score will be recognized at the Festival’s awards ceremony.
Your final musical score must be submitted per the instructions outlined in the start email by July 31, 2026.
